59 Clues and a Bag of Bobby Pins, 2009-2010

Found in cupboards, under beds and shifting through the house, I felt the need to document these family items as though they were museum pieces in a personal archive. The process of stop motion enables me to experience each object again, bring them back to life and capture how they move and sound. Each box reveals clues and unpack themselves again before my eyes, captured on an imaginary conveyor belt that can never get lost; one that I can keep revisiting and remembering.
